Elizabeth Constantine is a prosecutor in Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit and a candidate for Sixth Circuit Judge, Group 39, serving Pinellas and Pasco Counties. She has practiced law for nearly 13 years, handled hundreds of cases, and tried approximately 80 cases, including 11 murder convictions. In addition to working for the State Attorney’s Office, Liz is also employed by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office as an Associate General Counsel. As Associate General Counsel, Liz processes Risk Protection Orders. She has worked in this role since 2022. Serving as a Special Prosecutor for the State Attorney’s Office and an Associate General Counsel to the Sheriff’s Office gives Liz the unique experience of practicing both civil and criminal law. Throughout her career, she has served in misdemeanor, felony, and specialized gang prosecution assignments focused on violent crime, including homicides, armed robberies, carjackings, and drug trafficking.
Beyond the courtroom, Elizabeth has remained actively involved in both the legal and broader community. Her commitment to public service is shaped by personal experience, including time spent in foster care as a child after losing her father and experiencing instability at home. Those experiences gave her a deep understanding of how judicial decisions affect individuals, families, and communities.
